Hi friend,
If you’re new here, welcome! If you’re a vintage visitor, welcome back!
I started blogging years ago. And I loved it. The blog was about everyday life and my thoughts on it. I stayed strong and kept things fresh for about a decade, but then life happened. It usually does. In some way shape or form. For all of us, at some point, life just happens. I took a detour for awhile and wondered when I’d venture back here. I think COVID may have had something to do with that. (For more on that, I invite you to listen in to my first episode of the Better Brew Podcast, where I break that down a bit more. Click here.)
So here we are, almost 2 years into the Post-Pandemic world, and you have to admit, these last couple of years were off the chart crazy. Life-changing, right? For me, the great quarantine was actually a very positive and welcomed season. (Again for details, check out that 10-minute intro podcast episode.) But I wonder how it was for you?
I was able to get my life back together a bit, and my house—post-tornado. I started my podcast, rediscovered my kitchen and pantry, re-connected with my dogs, learned to garden with my 85-year-old neighbor who mentored me from seed to frost, caught some road trips, and even took on RV travel. I have to say, it was a massively productive and enjoyable time in my life.
But that’s the way it is with we so-called “producers.” Those of us who just can’t NOT create or produce something. It’s just in our DNA. Basically: People who come up with ideas, or who make things happen. For me, it’s content. I like to write, I like to talk, and well, there you have it.
So back to this blog. It’s here to help you see that you aren’t alone. You aren’t odd. You’re pretty normal. You’re human. You have feelings, questions, frustrations, victories, and then of course…just—life.
I hope in time you’ll sign up for my online community and check back here every so often to see what’s been on my mind lately.
And of course, I always love to hear what’s been on yours.
Connect soon?
Ciao—Stephanie
