I was standing in the kitchen in my robe, fuzzy slippers, and holding a cup of coffee. I was facing the refrigerator, I recall, and just standing there —staring blankly into space.
I was facing an unexpected transition. I had been blindsided and I had also been beaten up from the experience. Basically, I was numb and couldn’t move. Ever been there?
During that time, I started to write down quotes and comments that spoke to my heart. Those notes, my thoughts, and more began to pour out into notebooks and onto papers.
The truths that began to jump out at me and onto those pages in time became what is today known as The GRID.
This master mindset tool, began to move me forward and helped to point me in the right direction. It took me from frozen in place to taking baby steps. In time I was able to accomplish what I needed to—and more. But I couldn’t have done it without The GRID.
In the coming days, I’ll be introducing you to this tool and walking you through how it can change your life, get you over that hump, and to that next level, or, simply help you accomplish that next goal in your heart and mind. It worked for me, it’s worked for others, and I know it will work for you.
For those of you unable to figure out what next steps to take, or for those of you who simply want to level up, I know you’ll find it helpful. And I can’t wait to tell you more about it. So stay tuned and buckle up buttercup 🙂
Listen to my podcasts this month to hear about the GRID and how it can assist you in realizing that next dream.
What is the GRID? You’ll find out more, but in the meantime, it’s 4 quardants of personal work that will help you see where your time, energy and resources are really going and align them properly with where it is you really want them to go.

GRID….
G = GAIN Awareness
We’ll talk about who you interact with every day. Who truly gets your time and attention.
R = REVIEW the data
Look at your calendar. Where are you going? What are you doing? Where are you spending your money? Then look at your bills. Really look at them. Is what you see aligned with where you want to be, or go?
I = INVEST in your dreams, passions, and goals
What is it that you really want? Have you written it down? Are you close? Off-track or getting there? What makes your heart smile? And once you list that, are you able to even capture a bit of that each day, or week, month or year?
D=DEVELOP a plan
Who are the people, places, things for each of the items above, in the vault, that can get you to where I want to go? You usually can’t get to where you want to go without a professional, a coach, or help from a team, etc. Who can you be spending time with or investing in to help you achieve at least ONE item on your list of dreams.
I can’t wait to hear how The GIRD works for YOU!

What they’re saying…
——-
This place is really hopping and I just feel that I need to let you know that because you had such an important part back in those very difficult days just a year ago. For the record…I am enjoying the black chair for the first time in many years…thank you. -Cheryl, CEO non-profit, GA
Outstanding! It feels like diving into cool water on a hot, humid, sweaty summer day: what a RELIEF! -Linda B
I was home…picking up and putting away the [kids’] laundry and vacuuming THEIR rooms and I thought…why am I doing this? I decided I’m done cleaning up their domains. It’s time for them to do this every week. They…can do this on the weekend and it will only take them about an hour. I have so many other things I can’t get to because I am doing “their” chores. Scrapbooking, baking, cleaning out closets, etc.. are things I always want to do but I’m just trying to keep up with everything else that has to be done. Thanks for helping me, you are the best!—Housewife. Mom. Married to CEO.
The “grid” was life-changing for me! It has really helped me focus on my priorities and goals. I am very much a people pleaser and this gave me the freedom to say no, quit over-committing myself, and focus on what I need to accomplish and feel called to do!— Church Staff Member
The change from doing the grid was instantaneous. I immediately canceled [a particular entertainment] subscription because I realized that it was taking time from all of the things that I valued most. Over time there have been gradual changes as well, the most significant being the lack of guilt I have when deciding how to spend my time and with whom. — Marketing Manager
